The price for mailing postcards within the United States goes up June 1, 2015. The new price will be 35 cents, an increase of a penny. I know the USPS said they would keep prices the same for three years but they promised never to close a certain post office or fire a longtime postmaster who gave their heart and soul either. I noticed that there was a post below to remind our American friends of the postal rate increase, so I thought I would do the same for our Canadian members.  The rate increase will be effective as of January 16, 2012 and includes:

Domestic up 2 cents from 0.59 to 0.61
USA up 2 cents from $1.03 to $1.05
International up 5 cents from $1.75 to $1.80
